Help support sick kids like Jack

Jack was diagnosed with spastic diplegia cerebral palsy at just 14 months old. The condition affects his muscle control and movement, and he has faced challenges from an early age. At six years old, Jack became one of the first children in Australia to have a complex spinal surgery that could help improve his ability to walk.

To access the surgery and rehabilitation support, Jack’s family stayed at Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney for 45 nights. It became a safe and supportive place where the whole family could be together. The House gave them rest, meals, and space to focus fully on Jack’s care and recovery.

“This place gave us so much more than just a roof,” says Jack’s mum. “It gave us food on the run, special gifts, and more than anything, love. It is a core memory that has shaped us forever. You never want to have to stay here, but we are so thankful it exists.”
