I'm riding to give them one less thing to carry
Parents of seriously ill or injured kids often need to leave their homes, work and support networks so their child can receive life-saving treatment far from home. It’s a time of significant stress, uncertainty and enormous emotional pressure. If you add financial pressure to the plate - parents are carrying an unfathomable load.
That’s why I’m taking part in The Big Spin for Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney.
I’ll be riding a spin bike with my team for up to 12 hours to raise funds that help families stay close to their child in hospital.
Your support will provide a home-away-from-home near the hospital, daily meals, emotional care and more. From the moment of diagnosis and for as long as it takes, your generosity helps keep families together when they need it most.
