When a child is seriously ill or injured, the whole family is affected. Parents often need to leave their homes, work and support networks so their child can receive life-saving treatment far from home. It’s a time of stress, uncertainty and enormous emotional and financial pressure.

That’s why I’m taking part in The Big Spin for Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney.

I’ll be riding a spin bike with my team for up to 12 hours to raise funds that help families stay close to their child in hospital. Your support will provide a home-away-from-home near the hospital, daily meals, emotional care and more.
