I’m riding to help keep families together when they need it most
Having a cousin who faces a serious illness has shown me firsthand that sickness doesn’t just affect one person — it impacts an entire family. The worry, uncertainty and emotional toll can be incredibly difficult, and on top of that, many families are faced with significant financial pressure while simply trying to be there for their child.
My family has been fortunate enough to be in a position where we can support my cousin and manage the financial expenses that come with their care. But I know that for many families, this simply isn’t the case.
That’s why I’m taking part in The Big Spin for Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney. I’m riding for the families who are already going through one of the hardest periods of their lives and shouldn’t also have to worry about where they will stay or how they will afford to remain close to their child.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps Ronald McDonald House provide families with a home away from home and, most importantly, allows them to stay together when they need each other most.
I’ll be riding alongside my team for up to 12 hours with my cousin in my heart and all the struggling families, and I’d be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. ❤️
