Follow their process. This may include filling in a form or submitting a request through an intranet or online portal.

What if my company doesn't have a matching program?
Companies love to hear about the incredible work of their employees.
Why not ask if they would consider making a one-off donation to match your total? Many companies are happy to do this when it supports a great cause!
Does the match have to be dollar-for-dollar?
Not always. Some companies match a percentage or up to a set limit. Each company is different - but every dollar counts!
When should I ask?
As early as possible — you can even ask before you start fundraising. That way your workplace knows they might be contributing at the end.
What if we end up raising much more than we expected?
That’s a great problem to have! Most companies will still match up to a set limit, so it’s worth finding out their cap early. Even if they can’t match the full amount, your team will still benefit from a huge boost.
You can also ask if they’d be open to increasing their limit given the incredible effort your team has put in.
Will the matching donation show on our team fundraising page?
Yes. Once the matched donation is processed, it can be added to your team’s fundraising total so you can see the full impact.

When will the matching funds be added?
Every workplace is different. Some transfer the match immediately after you hit your goal, while others wait until the end of the campaign. Check with your HR or finance team so you can plan your final total.
