When it is your son, there is no choice.
When my son was hit by a car just before Christmas and rushed to Westmead Hospital, I would’ve moved heaven and earth to be by his side. Volunteering at RMHC, I saw how many families can’t always afford that chance — yet the house runs mostly on private donations. So I’m spinning to help give another dad the same gift I was lucky to have: being there when it matters most.
