Riding with Heart: Tour de Tommy

This year, I’m joining Tour de Tommy in the Big Spin — a ride that means more than just kilometres on a bike. It’s a ride in memory of a beautiful boy, Tommy, whose light continues to shine through all of us who knew him, and whose legacy is now fuelling something deeply powerful: support for sick kids and their families when they need it most.

I’m riding for Tommy.

He was brave, bright, cheeky, and so deeply loved. His spirit — full of laughter, love, and resilience — lives on through every push of the pedals, every drop of sweat, and every donation made to Ronald McDonald House. This incredible organisation supported Tommy’s family during their toughest days, offering not just a place to stay, but warmth, comfort, and care that wrapped around them when the world felt like it was falling apart.

That’s what makes this ride so important. It’s about honouring a little life that changed so many others. And it’s about paying that kindness forward.

No family expects to find themselves needing a place like Ronald McDonald House. But when they do, they’re met with compassion, community, and a home-away-from-home. It makes all the difference — and we can be part of that difference.

So, I’m asking you to ride with me in spirit. Support the cause. Donate if you can. Share the story. Talk about Tommy. Keep his name spoken and his memory alive.
